VIDEO PRODUCTION
I've always believed in the power and impact of storytelling, and doing so through informational video guides has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career to date.
This video was created to announce the Rochester Americans' 2024-25 regular season schedule.

At the time of the announcement, the app "Momento" was encountering a resurgence, especially on Hockey Twitter, which inspired this particular format of video. I created the "tickets," inspired by Momento's look, for each opponent, using a combination of Photoshop and Canva, and animated each opponent's slide using a combination of Canva, CapCut, and InShot.
This video was created to celebrate our head coach's promotion to our NHL affiliate, the Buffalo Sabres. Seth Appert (affectionately nicknamed "Apps") was at the helm of the Amerks for three full seasons and is not only credited with turning the team around, but is known and beloved for being a genuinely great person to work with.

I created this video using a combination of video and audio clips from our video and creative team and with the help of our PR staff, who supplied "good luck!" videos from players and staff that Apps has worked with during his time in Rochester.
A spur-of-the-moment idea came to me while at the Buffalo Sabres' annual Development Camp in 2024 — a member of our Creative team was on hand to witness the organization's goalie prospects roller-skating (and going up escalators) to get from their locker room to the ice sheet, and this video was born!

I followed goaltending prospect Scott Ratzlaff from the locker room to the ice, filming this video with nothing but my iPhone, and put together a quick, 60-second reel that performed beyond our wildest dreams on our social accounts. This video alone was responsible for nearly 500 new followers across all platforms and it was a super quick video that I turned around in under 15 minutes.

The best part was that this video was carried significantly by the trust and working relationship I had built with Ratzlaff during his brief stint in Rochester during the 2023-24 season. Because we were familiar with each other, he was able to keep up a steady stream of (one-sided!) conversation throughout the video.

This content was filmed with an iPhone and lightly edited and captioned using InShot and CapCut.
To tease the launch of the 2023-24 ECAC Hockey men's regular season schedule, I put together a compilation of highlights and motion graphics to generate excitement not only for the schedule release itself, but for the season ahead.
​
I was responsible for the ideation and execution of this entire project, including the selection and compilation of clips, the development and implementation of the video's narrative and overall messaging, and the physical editing. Additionally, I shared this project to social media and was responsible for writing each post's copy.

A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO THE NATIONAL WOMEN'S HOCKEY LEAGUE
Ahead of the sixth season of play in the Premier Hockey Federation (then the National Women's Hockey League), I put together an informational guide on the league, its teams, and how to watch.

With more than 200 viewers during the live premiere, the video has since been watched and shared with more than 1,400 viewers.
